The City of New York, Department of Finance instituted the ACRIS system to utilize on-line processing of documents for future internet access of recorded information and associated indexed data. Ancillary documents are no longer being accepted in "paper", hand-written or typed form. They now must be created on-line and in advance of submission of recording.
